Titans Aquatic Swim Club Growing

The Titans Aquatic Swim Team is a new swim club in Barbados just 2 years old.  In that 2 years under the coaching of Enrico McConney head coach of the club and assisted by Nelson Garcia Fernandez, they have grow from 12 swimmers to now 38 competitive swimmers and from 6 learn to swimmers to now over 40.  The name is now getting out to the public thought  the programs they put on, for example in 2012 the BREAKout swim clinic with 4 Olympic Swimmer. The turn for the that clinic was great  with swimmers coming from as far as Germany to take part.  The Participant had a 5 hour session learning all 4 stroke, a motivation talk, at the end food along with sign autographs  and  photos.  The team has now gotten some sponsors since that event to help us on out trips and equipment, One of our Main sponsors is the international brand Speedo. We would like to say thank you to them for there support.

This year at the just concluded Aquatic Centre the Titans came 5 over all, out of 15 countries and got 14 Golds, 12 Silvers and 13 Bronzes.  We had 87% personal best time improvement, and most of all every Titan swimmer had fun.

To continue with improving the swimmers in Barbados and the caribbean Titans Swim Team is putting on an International event with Clubs from all over the world, in Barbados.  The event will be October 24th – 27th 2013.  Check out our web site at Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos
